Change the email displayed in the upper left hand corner of my laptop when I go to settings

I got a new HP 15" laptop for travel and set it up ok,

This 17" laptop is my primary.  The 2 don't talk to each other sharing files because this 17" has an old email, I guess as a primary and I need to change it to the same one I use on the 15"

How do I do it or wgere can I look for assistance?

Here are a few steps you can try while we narrow this down:

1. Check your Microsoft Account in Settings
   • Go to Start > Settings > Accounts > Your info.
   • If you see the old email there, you may need to sign out and sign in with the new one you use on your 15" laptop.
2. Add the new account without removing the old one (optional)
   • In Settings > Accounts > Email & accounts, you can add your newer email.
   • This allows you to gradually move over without losing access to files tied to the old account.
3. Verify OneDrive or Outlook setup
   • If file sharing isn’t working, check whether OneDrive is signed in with the same account on both laptops.
   • For email, open Outlook and confirm which account is set as default.
4. Sync settings across devices

• In Settings > Accounts > Sync your settings, make sure sync is turned on with the same Microsoft account. This helps keep preferences and files aligned.
