HP All-in-One Desktop PC 24-cr0000a (71U92AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi. My computer shuts down completely each time my computer goes to sleep. All open programs are closed and it's like the computer has rebooted each time. This happens every day and I have to 'restore what I was viewing. I'm not sure if others are like me but I like to leave a few browser tabs open. I'm using Chrome so is it a Chrome issue?

I also have the issue where on about the 10th day I get an error message saying:

Boot Device Not Found

Please install an operating system on your hard dish.

Hard Disk (3FO)

F2 - System Diagnostics

For more information please visit the website 222.hp.com/go/3FOharddiskerror

I've been on the phone with HP Support who downloaded the BIOS but couldn't work out anything else. I've also taken it back to the store who had it running tests over days but couldn't find anything. It's not 12 months old yet but I am ready to throw it out the window.

Has anyone else had this issue? Can anyone from HP support or the community help me please?

Thanks

Hi Garp,

Thanks for giving me these instructions. I'll have to wait until I see the BIOS screen again to complete the steps you've mentioned. It's approx just over a week each time until I see it which means I'll then have to wait for another couple of weeks to see if it works. I'll come back once I've been through those steps.

Thanks
