Hi @Kumbman,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand you have trouble with the device. Let’s get your Poly Voyager Free 20 earbuds connected to your HP AI OmniBook X step by step.

1. Power Up and Reset Your Earbuds

  1. Place earbuds in the charging case with the lid closed for 5 seconds, then open the lid.
  2. Reset the earbuds by pressing the pairing button on the case for 4 seconds, until the LEDs flash. This clears old Bluetooth pairings.

2. Enable Bluetooth on the Laptop

  1. Press Windows + A, or click the Bluetooth icon in the taskbar.
  2. Ensure Bluetooth is ON and the laptop is discoverable.

3. Pair in Windows Settings

  1. Go to Settings → Devices → Bluetooth & other devices → Add device.
  2. Select Bluetooth, and choose Voyager Free 20 when it appears.
  3. If prompted for a PIN, use 0000 or check the case instructions; usually, no PIN is needed.

4. Use Poly Lens Desktop (for Firmware/Settings)

  1. Open Poly Lens Desktop (after installation).
  2. It should auto-detect your earbuds and prompt for firmware updates.
    • If not, ensure Bluetooth direct connection is selected in the app.
  3. Complete any firmware update, it helps stability.

5. Removing Stuck or Ghost Pairings

If the earbuds fail to pair or keep showing “Not Connected”:

  1. In Settings → Bluetooth & devices, click ...Remove device for any duplicate “Voyager Free 20” entries.
  2. Repeat the reset sequence (hold charge-case button 4 sec).
  3. Reconnect from scratch.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
