I have a HP USB-C G5 Essential Dock and a HP 255 G9 Laptop - ProdID:  A29PFUA#ABA.

When I connect a 2nd monitor to the HP USB-C G5 Essential Dock, the 2nd monitor does not come on or show anything.  When I connect the 2nd monitor directly to the HDMI Port on the laptop, not using the Essential Dock, then the 2nd monitor does come on and works appropriately.  I have downloaded and installed all available drivers and firmware for both the Essential Dock and my laptop from the HP driver support website.  I am running Windows 11 Pro - Version 25H2.  Does anyone have any pointers or that can provide any information as to why the Essential Dock does not work with the 2nd monitor?  Thank you!

Hi @Reed75

The issue is that this notebook's USB-C port is not compatible with DisplayPort, so you cannot view images through that port.
