OMEN 30L Desktop PC GT13-1000a (207P7AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I have read over the upgrade guide for my pc here: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06867759.pdf

My concern is it says for AMD there is only 1 M.2 slot and 2 DDR4 slots, however i have the AMD version and I have 4 DDR4 slots and the location of my one M.2 slot that I can see is not in the same location as the where the AMD motherboard has it's slot.

My questions is do I really have 3 expansion slots for more M.2 SSD's or not, I am not PC savvy and I have never built a PC before, hence why I chose to buy prebuilt. My concern now is I believe the second M.2 slot is behind my graphics card, but I don't want to remove it without confirming that there is a 2nd slot or not. If no one replies to this I am just going to order the M.2 slot and when it arrives, hope for the best that I have somewhere to put it into it, otherwise I will just take the loss and return the product.

The reason I want to upgrade is because I only have 1 tb and I now only have 132 gb left but I want to play and download more game (like warzone) without my PC being overloaded with storage. Another concern is that if i do not have a 2nd slot, i will have to purchase a cloner to clone my current NvMe and that just adds more cost, as well as having to purchase a 2 tb NvMe rather than a 1 tb and just expanding what I currently have! Please reach out to me for help if you know anything aobut this!

According to the product specs your PC has support for 2 M.2 NVMe SSD's and 1 M.2 Wi-Fi adapter.

When you read the expansion slot information, you have to assume you are looking at a bare motherboard with nothing installed in the slots.

So, if your PC already has a M.2 NVMe SSD installed and a M.2 Wi-Fi adapter installed, then you only have one free M.2 NVMe slot remaining for another NVMe SSD.

Here is a picture of your PC's motherboard on an eBay listing.

The 2nd SSD slot is hidden by the graphics card which you will have to remove to be able to install a second SSD.
