HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 16 inch Display

Dear Community,

I was planning to wait for a successor to the HP Spectre x360 16-inch. With the transition to the OmniBook lineup, the Spectre family has now been followed by the OmniBook Ultra. Currently, the OmniBook Ultra is only available in 14-inch. However, I need a 16-inch model.

The OmniBook X Flip, which is offered in 16-inch, is the successor of the Envy family — not my preferred Spectre lineage.

Will there be a 16-inch OmniBook Ultra Flip?

All models in the as000 series are 16 inches.

Thank you for your response. Perhaps I did not phrase my question clearly enough.

I specifically asked about the OmniBook Ultra Flip in 16-inch, which is the successor of the Spectre family. In contrast, the model you mentioned (16-as0000) is an OmniBook X Flip, which belongs to the Envy lineage. I explicitly excluded the X Flip in my question, because I am not interested in that product line.

So again, to clarify: Will HP release a 16-inch OmniBook Ultra Flip?

This HP OmniBook series has nothing to do with Spectre or Envy; these are the new models that include AI.

The Spectre was available in 16-inch. The OmniBook Ultra isn't.
I am very interested to know whether HP is planning to release an OmniBook Ultra in 16-inch.

Similar, but not replacing the Spectre, the Ultra is not currently available in 16 inches.

That there is currently no 16-inch Ultra model is obvious from HP’s own website. The reason I am posting here in the HP forum is because I am hoping for HP-related insights. What really matters to me is whether it is realistically to be expected that HP will release a 16-inch OmniBook Ultra in the foreseeable future, or if the Ultra line will remain limited to 14-inch only.

It would be frustrating to invest in an OmniBook X now, only to see HP launch a 16-inch OmniBook Ultra a few months later. Any reliable information on the roadmap would be highly appreciated.

This is a support forum; you will not find that information on this forum. No one can know which HP models will be used for their products in the future. But if I had to bet, it definitely won't be a 16-inch one.
