Hi, could anyone tell me what the maximum size of a HDD SATA drive can be installed in the Pavillion 17-cd1007na laptop.

Hi Stephen, your HP Pavilion 17-cd1007na should support up to a 2TB 2.5" SATA HDD without any issues. Just make sure the drive height is 7mm or 9.5mm to fit properly in the bay.
