Did any got a phone call back, from phone (Edited),  saying that "they're from HP support" and asking for remote control of your desktop, so they can help you with a software problem?  First,  I went to virtual assistance  and they asked for my name, phone number and address.

Thank you

@mgmgm14, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query.

Just to confirm, did you originally contact HP through our official website (https://support.hp.com) or through any of our verified support channels? HP will never initiate unsolicited phone calls asking for remote access to your computer unless you have an open case that you started through the official site.

If you didn’t request support directly from our website or an authorized HP partner, it’s very likely that the call you received was not from HP. Please do not share any personal information or grant remote access to your device.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
