I got a pop-up saying."We were not able to find an HP warranty that matches your product information......"

The warranty is for a HP  Laptop PC  17-cp3000 IDS Base Model.  How do I resolve this?

@ekdman, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're seeing the message "We were not able to find an HP warranty that matches your product information" for your HP Laptop PC 17-cp3000 IDS Base Model, here are a few steps you can follow to resolve this:

Verify Product Information

Ensure that the serial number and product number you are entering are correct. You can find these by:

  • Pressing Fn + Esc on your keyboard to open the HP System Information window.
  • Or, check the label on the bottom of your laptop.

Check Warranty Status Manually

Visit HP’s official warranty check page: Official HP® Warranty Check - United States | HP® Support

Enter your serial number and country/region to view the warranty status.

Sign in to HP Support

If the warranty still doesn’t show up:

  • Sign in or create an account at HP Support
  • Register your product manually using the serial number.

Note: Please make sure the O and 0 or 2 and Z are entered correctly.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
