HP Recommended

To my HP48 users that still know it's the best calculator ever lol

 

I've been using mine regularly since 93 but this past week I was getting random glitches in the form of long hangup delays when entering numbers, random right key (green key) at top of screen constantly blinking then disappearing so initially I did a reset as per manual but same thing. Next I changed the batteries and same issue BUT when changing the batteries I noticed the middle battery was quite loose so I gently used a small screwdriver to move the metal connector to the right and placed a small piece of folded paper until the battery when installed was fitting snug and tight. After that my HP48GX went back to normal.

 

Hope this info can help other users as well.
