My computer is running super slow. I've updated everything even factory reset and its still running super slow. It's not the internet connection because all the other devices in the home run with no issue its literally just the computer.

@Kutthroat813, Hello and welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.

I understand how frustrating it can be when your HP All-in-One 22-c0073w runs slow even after updates and a factory reset. Let's walk through a few steps to identify and resolve the issue.

Check System Specifications

The HP 22-c0073w typically comes with:

  • AMD E2-9000e processor
  • 4GB RAM
  • 1TB HDD This configuration is entry-level and may struggle with Windows 10/11 performance, especially with background apps and updates.

Check for High Resource Usage

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager
  • Go to the Processes tab and check CPU, Memory, and Disk usage
  • If Disk usage is constantly at 100%, the HDD may be the bottleneck

Disable Startup Programs

  • In Task Manager, go to the Startup tab
  • Disable unnecessary apps (e.g., OneDrive, Skype, etc.)

Run HP Hardware Diagnostics

Use HP PC Hardware Diagnostics to check for hardware issues:

Update BIOS and Drivers

  • Visit the HP support page for your model: Official HP® Support
  • Install the latest BIOS, Chipset, and Graphics drivers

Consider Upgrading Hardware

If you're comfortable with hardware upgrades:

  • Upgrade to SSD: Replacing the 1TB HDD with a SATA SSD can drastically improve speed
  • Upgrade RAM: If only 4GB is installed, upgrading to 8GB or more will help with multitasking

Clean Boot

Try a clean boot to rule out software conflicts:

I hope the information shared has been useful and resolves your concern.
