Hi @Suresh_chowhan,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The absence of the two-finger scroll option on your HP Gaming Pavilion 15 running Windows 11 could be due to either a missing or outdated touchpad driver or incorrect touchpad settings. Here's how you can resolve the issue.

Check if Two-Finger Scroll is Enabled

Open Touchpad Settings:

  • Press Windows + I to open Settings.
  • Go to Bluetooth & devices > Touchpad.

Enable Two-Finger Scrolling:

  • Look for a section labeled Scroll & Zoom or similar.
  • Enable the option for Two-finger scroll.

Update the Touchpad Driver

Check Device Manager:

  • Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.
  • Expand Mice and other pointing devices.
  • Look for a touchpad device (e.g., Synaptics Touchpad, ELAN Touchpad, or similar).

Update Driver:

  • Right-click on the touchpad device and select Update driver.
  • Choose Search automatically for drivers.
  • If no updates are found, visit the HP Support website and download the latest touchpad driver for your device model.

Install Driver:

  • Run the downloaded file and follow the installation prompts.
  • Restart your laptop.

Install or Reinstall Precision Touchpad Drivers

If your laptop supports Precision Touchpad, you can install or reinstall these drivers:

Download Precision Drivers:

  • Visit the HP website or download generic Precision Touchpad drivers from trusted sources.

Install Drivers:

  • Open Device Manager, right-click your touchpad device, and select Update driver.
  • Choose Browse my computer for drivers > Let me pick from a list.
  • Select the downloaded driver or a generic HID-compliant touchpad option.

Reset Touchpad Settings

  1. Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Touchpad.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and click Reset or Restore defaults.

Verify Gestures in HP Support Assistant

  1. Open HP Support Assistant (pre-installed on most HP devices).
  2. Check for updates and verify if touchpad-related settings are visible.
  3. If missing, download any recommended updates.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
