Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

 

First, restart the device and check if the issue persists

 

Next, Run Windows Update Troubleshooter

Click Start > Settings > System > Troubleshoot

Click Other troubleshooters

Find Windows Update and click Run

 

Run DISM and SFC (System File Repairs)

These two tools check for and repair corrupted system files that might block updates.

Open Command Prompt as Administrator:

Type cmd in Start menu > Right-click on Command Prompt > Click Run as administrator

Then paste the following commands one at a time, pressing Enter after each:

  • DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
  • sfc /scannow

Make Sure Date & Time Are Correct

Incorrect date/time can cause update failures.

Right-click the clock > Adjust date/time > Set it to automatic.
