Hi @UnsalPiskin,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I can feel how important this Eye Contact feature is for your video calls, especially on a brand-new HP Omni Book Ultra Flip 14-fh0000 AI PC. You’ve already tried the right steps, and I admire your persistence. Let’s get this working for you.

The Eye Contact feature is part of Windows Studio Effects, which uses your laptop’s Neural Processing Unit (NPU) to simulate direct eye contact during video calls. If it’s not working despite being switched on, it could be due to:

  • Missing or outdated Windows Studio Effects drivers
  • Incorrect camera settings
  • Compatibility or firmware issues

Step-by-Step Fix

1. Check Windows Version and Compatibility

Make sure your laptop is running Windows 11 version 22H2 or newer:

  • Press Windows + R, type winver, and hit Enter.
  • If it’s older than 22H2, update via Settings > Windows Update.

2. Enable Eye Contact via Camera Settings

  • Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Cameras
  • Select your front-facing camera
  • Under Camera Effects, toggle Eye Contact ON

If you only see “Basic settings” and not “Studio Effects,” your device may not have the required driver or firmware.

3. Update Drivers via HP Support

Visit the official HP support page for your model: 👉 HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 14-fh0089nw (B2MF5EA) Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support

Download and install:

  • Windows Studio Effects Driver
  • Camera Driver
  • HP AI Companion (if available)

4. Use Quick Settings Panel

If you're on the latest Windows Insider build:

  • Click the network/sound/battery icons in the taskbar
  • Tap Studio Effects
  • Toggle Eye Contact and other effects from there

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
