HP Elite SFF 600 G9 Desktop PC
Microsoft Windows 11

6 month old desktop running WIndows 11. It is left tuned on but locked for much of the time.

A few times in the last 4 months, the machine will reboot for no reason, then when it restarts, it will hang at the "3F0 - no boot device". They can power the machine off for 10 seconds & it then boots & works normally.

No indication of BSOD or any power issue in the Event Log that might cause the restart (though obviously a faulty SSD can cause this). HP diagnostics come back as 'PASSED' for all storage tests, which aliong with the intermittent nature of the issue, makes it tricky to log with HP warranty. Windows & HP software & firmware up to date. Can look at reloading OS, but would like to keep this as last resort.

Thanks Banhien. We've been through the basics, other than reloading Windows. That may be the next step, but it's a complicated setup, so would rather not if we can find an alternative!
