Hi @suman41, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're having trouble with your MS Office apps not appearing in the "New" context menu when you right-click. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this issue:

Check Office Installation:

  • Ensure that your MS Office is properly installed. Sometimes, a repair installation can fix missing context menu entries.
  • Go to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features.
  • Find Microsoft Office in the list, right-click it, and select Change.
  • Choose Repair and follow the prompts.

Registry Edit:

  • Sometimes, the context menu entries can be restored by editing the Windows Registry. Be cautious while doing this.
  • Press Win + R, type regedit, and press Enter.
  • Navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers.
  • Check if there are entries for MS Office applications. If not, you might need to add them manually.

Reinstall Office:

  • If the above steps don't work, try uninstalling and then reinstalling MS Office.

Update Windows:

  • Ensure your Windows is up to date. Sometimes, updates can fix context menu issues.

Check for Third-Party Software Conflicts:

  • Some third-party software might interfere with context menu entries. Try disabling or uninstalling any recently installed software to see if it resolves the issue.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
