I bought a monitor and desktop separately. When trying to connect, there is no VGA port on the desktop. I bought a duel hdmi and vga spliter and the monitor worked for a while. I never got sound from the built-in speakers and there are always notifications saying vga and hdmi not connected. Now the monitor will not even come on even when resetting the desktop.
