Hi @Ramprasad121,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Thank you for explaining the situation so clearly. I can imagine how stressful it must be when your HP laptop shows no signs of life, no LED, no beep, no heat, and you’re left wondering whether it’s the RAM or the motherboard. Let’s walk through this together with care and precision.

Recommended Steps to Try Before Repair

1. Perform a Hard Reset

If the laptop has a removable battery:

  • Remove the battery and unplug the charger.
  • Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
  • Reconnect the charger (without battery) and try powering on.

If the battery is internal, just hold the power button with the charger unplugged.

2. Reseat or Replace RAM (If Accessible)

If your laptop has a RAM access panel:

  • Remove the panel and gently reseat the RAM sticks.
  • If you have two sticks, try booting with one at a time.
  • If possible, test with known working RAM.

3. Check for Signs of Power

  • Try a different charger or wall outlet.
  • Look for any faint LED flicker near the charging port.
  • If the laptop has a CMOS reset pinhole, try pressing it with a paperclip.

4. Try BIOS Recovery (If Any Signs of Life)

If the power light ever comes on, try:

  • Hold Windows + B, then press and hold Power for 2–3 seconds.
  • Release all keys and wait for the BIOS recovery screen.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
