My brother dropped my laptop and the screen appears broken but still turns on

 this is how the laptop looks I've researched and said to connect it to the TV but I don't have thr cable's for it and I have no money to repair this and I really need it for school

The screen damage shown is consistent with impact trauma, and while the system may still power on, the display panel itself has likely failed and will require replacement to restore full functionality.

• You can check repair eligibility and estimated costs by visiting the HP Service Center Locator.

 

Alternative Access (if repair isn’t possible now)

• If you can borrow or obtain a basic HDMI cable which may not cost much, you may be able to connect the laptop to a TV or monitor and use it as a temporary display.
