My Desktop Pavillon 318g6aa, 2M041142TM processor has lockdown.  I can't get my computer to boot up, it just loops.  I bought it May 1st 2024.  It still has over 2 months of warranty.  How do I get this fixed.  Best buy said they can't do it.

May I know if there were any troubleshooting steps done to isolate the issue?

When you press the power button, does the HP logo come up on the screen?

 

Are you able to access the BIOS?

 

1) Shutdown your PC completely. as soon as you Turn on the computer repeatedly press the Esc key to enter the Startup Menu.

2) Press F10 to open the BIOS Setup Utility.

 

Let me know if you are able to access the BIOS.
