@DeviKGanesh, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP Laptop screen having keyboard impression!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Here are some steps to clean your LCD screen if the issue is caused by smudges or dirt rather than a shadow from the keypad:

LCD screens often collect smudges and minor scratches over time. To clean them safely, use a soft, non-abrasive cloth. First, turn off your computer and unplug the power cable. Gently wipe the screen with a dry microfiber cloth. If any marks remain, lightly dampen the cloth with an LCD-safe cleaner and wipe the screen in a single direction, from top to bottom. Avoid using plastic or glass cleaners that contain ammonia, as they may leave a glare-causing residue. Instead, opt for a monitor-specific cleaner from a computer store. Always spray the cleaner onto the cloth first, never directly on the screen.

If the line on your screen isn't a physical mark on the LCD, try checking if it appears in the BIOS. Restart your system and press F10 repeatedly to enter the BIOS menu.

Let us know if the line is visible there as well

Take care, and have an amazing day!
