Hi,

I have purcahased a new HP AMD Ryzen 9 Octa Core 7940HS - (16 GB/1 TB SSD /Windows 11 Home/8 GBGraphics/NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070) 16-xf0100AX Gaming Laptop.
Warranty: 1 Year Onsite Warranty

But when validate warranty online, its showing expired.

How to get warranty activated on my new laptop,

We do not work for or represent HP.

 

HP starts the warranty clock ticking the minute the PC leaves the assembly plant.

 

So the longer the time elapses from assembly date to the purchase date, the less time remains on the warranty.

 

Please contact HP customer service beginning at the link below and submit a support request to have the warranty start and end dates adjusted to the date you purchased the notebook.

Oh, I see. I posted this here because I did see a couple posts of people being responded to by people in HP about their similar warranty problems in this forum though, I guess customer care is just the intended way?

Yes, anyone from HP is not responding on behalf of the company.

 

They are volunteering their time like the rest of us do.

 

If a HP employee happens to reply, they will send you a private message to continue the conversation off-line and give you the info and help you need to contact HP support.
