I purchased a 3 year Care Package at the same time as buying my HP Omnibook. The very brief summary given about the Care Package says that I will receive 24/7 technical support, but there is no information given regarding how I access this support. I have looked all over your website and in my account for details, but cannot find any. Can anyone help?

Thank you for reaching out, and I understand the confusion. Care Pack details are not always clearly visible on the account page. I’ll be happy to clarify how your 3-year HP Care Package works and how you can access the 24/7 technical support included with it.

How Your HP Care Pack Support Works

Your Care Pack is automatically linked to your laptop’s serial number, so you don’t need a separate login or code.
Once activated, it unlocks:

  • 24/7 technical support
  • Extended hardware warranty
  • Repairs or service (depending on the Care Pack type)
  • Priority access to HP support agents


How to Access HP 24/7 Technical Support

1. HP Support Assistant (Recommended)

If you're on your HP Omnibook:

  1. Open HP Support Assistant (pre-installed on all HP PCs)
  2. Go to My Devices → Support
  3. You will see the correct HP support contact options linked to your Care Pack

This is the easiest way to reach HP directly.

2. HP Website Support (Chat / Phone / Email)

Visit: https://support.hp.com/contact

  • Enter your serial number
  • The system will detect your active Care Pack
  • You’ll see available options like:
    • Live chat
    • Phone support
    • Service request
    • WhatsApp (in some regions)


3. 24/7 Social Media Support

If you prefer reaching HP via social channels, HP has dedicated support teams available:

  • Twitter (X): @HPSupport
  • Facebook Messenger: HP Support

These channels operate 24/7 for many regions, and they can verify your Care Pack and assist you directly.

If You Don’t See Your Care Pack

Sometimes, Care Packs take a few days to register.
If it still doesn’t appear, you can share your Care Pack reference number with HP Support (not here publicly), and they’ll link it manually.
