HP OmniBook 3 15.6 inch Laptop Next Gen AI PC 15-fn0000 (B4XM5AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Very disappointed that there is still no online repair request support for Omnibooks, not even online chat support is provided, while the other HP laptops can ask for repair through online Virtual Assistant.

Omnibooks are marketed as AI PCs, but can only get support through traditional phone support,  or through HP's physical authorized repair centers (which do not honor HP's warranty).  It is not very smart that the AI PCs require their customers to call during specific working hours and wait for the real agent pick up the phone, no matter what issues you are experiencing...

My Omnibook cannot power on. I have tried hard reset and the other troubleshooting as the virtual agent suggested.  It is still not turned on, no beeping sound, not any lights on the keyboard or screen, and no AC light when power cord is plugged. The computer is completely dead.

Can anyone from the HP support team contact me and issue a repair order for me?  I need to send back this laptop for repair.

Hi @ATESTINC,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused don’t worry let me help you.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience with the support options available for OmniBooks. While some HP products offer online requests and support through a Virtual Assistant, there may be limitations in availability for certain models or regions.

In the meantime, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

  1. Perform a Power Reset Again:
    • Disconnect the power adapter.
    • Press and hold the power button for 15–20 seconds.
    • Reconnect the adapter and try powering on.
  2. Check the AC Adapter & Power Port:
    • Ensure the adapter is working by testing it on another HP laptop if available.
    • Inspect the charging port for dust or damage.
  3. Run HP Hardware Diagnostics (if system powers on):
    • If you manage to get any response, press Esc repeatedly at startup → then F2 to access HP PC Hardware Diagnostics.
    • Run a full system test.

I hope this helps.

Updating the HP support contact experience for OmniBooks... Now OmniBooks have provided Chat support. It helps a lot.  The AI Sage is much smarter than the old chat robot which only keeps you endless looping.  The AI Sage agent can provide troubleshooting steps, and it can connect to the real agent directly when further support needed.  So, I can now work with a real agent through chat support and create a repair order for my issue OmniBook.  The reply speed of the agent is also much faster (acceptable waiting time) than 2 months ago.  Happy to see the improvement.
