Hi @1Nahar

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

If your HP Pavilion 15 Laptop is displaying a black screen and the motherboard and processor are heating up, here are some steps and considerations to address the issue:

Power Cycle:

  • Disconnect the laptop from any power sources, including the charger.
  • Remove any external peripherals connected to the laptop.
  • Press and hold the power button for about 15 to 20 seconds to discharge any remaining energy.
  • Connect the charger and try to start the laptop.

Check for Overheating:

  • Ensure that the laptop is placed on a flat surface allowing proper ventilation.
  • Avoid using the laptop on soft surfaces like beds or couches that can block the vents.

Cooling Solutions:

  • If the laptop continues to overheat, consider using a cooling pad or ensuring that the fans are unobstructed and functioning properly.

BIOS Update:

  • Ensure your BIOS is up-to-date by downloading the latest version from the HP Support website. A BIOS update may help manage thermal settings better.

Run Diagnostics:

  • Use HP Hardware Diagnostics to run a system test to check for any hardware failures.
  • You can access these diagnostics by pressing the ESC key repeatedly as soon as you power on the laptop, then selecting System Diagnostics from the menu.

Reset BIOS:

  • If accessible, enter the BIOS setup by pressing F10 during startup and restore the BIOS to default settings, which might resolve certain issues.

You're handling this with patience and clarity—let’s get your tech back on track.
