Microsoft Windows 11

I signed up for a pass code but never got it. Now I cannot turn my laptop on. No power, no sign in - nothing.

@AlanHHI, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Hard Reset the Laptop

Unplug the power adapter.

Hold down the power button for at least 15 seconds.

Release, then reconnect the power adapter.

Try turning it on again.

Check for Signs of Life

Plug in the charger and look for:

Charging LED indicator

Any keyboard backlight flash

Faint fan noise or screen flicker

If none, proceed to next step.

Remove External Devices

Disconnect all USBs, SD cards, or peripherals.

Sometimes external hardware interferes with startup or lockout recovery.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
