Hello @Krishn3, and welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.

I understand you're experiencing screen freezes and unexpected restarts on your HP Envy x360 14-fc0000 laptop, especially while watching YouTube with a headset connected. The strange sound before the restart suggests a possible audio driver or hardware conflict. Let's go through a few steps to diagnose and resolve this:

Update BIOS and Drivers

Outdated BIOS or drivers can cause system instability.

Update BIOS: Visit the HP Software and Driver Downloads page and enter your product: Official HP® Support

Update Audio and Graphics Drivers:

Check for Windows Updates

Ensure your system is fully updated:

  • Go to Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates
  • Install all available updates, including optional driver updates.

Disable Audio Enhancements

Audio enhancements can sometimes conflict with headset drivers.

  • Right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar → Sounds
  • Go to the Playback tab → Select your headset → Click Properties
  • Under the Enhancements tab, check Disable all enhancements
  • Click Apply and OK

Run HP Hardware Diagnostics

Let’s check for hardware issues:

Next Steps

If the issue persists after these steps:

  • Try using a different headset to rule out hardware conflict.
  • Boot into Safe Mode with Networking and test YouTube playback.
  • Consider performing a System Restore to a point before the issue began.

I hope the information shared has been useful and resolves your concern.

Wishing you a smooth and hassle-free experience ahead!
