@Rupamm2001, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I'm sorry to hear about the screen flickering issue with your HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-d5000. This can be quite frustrating, especially during important meetings. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Update Display and Audio Drivers:

  • Display Drivers: Open Device Manager (Press Win + X and select Device Manager). Expand Display adapters, right-click your graphics driver (Intel/AMD/NVIDIA), and select Update driver. Choose Search automatically for drivers. If the issue persists, try uninstalling the driver and restarting your laptop.
  • Audio Drivers: In Device Manager, expand Audio inputs and outputs. Right-click on your microphone and select Update driver. Repeat this for Sound, video, and game controllers.

Check for Windows Updates:

  • Go to Settings > Windows Update and check for updates. Install any pending updates, especially those related to drivers and system stability.

Disable Hardware Acceleration:

  • In Google Chrome: Open Chrome, click the three dots menu, go to Settings > System, and turn off Use hardware acceleration when available. Restart Chrome.
  • For Microsoft Edge and other apps, disable hardware acceleration in their respective settings.

Adjust Graphics Settings:

  • Go to Settings > System > Display > Graphics settings. Under Choose an app to set preference, add your meeting software (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet) and set them to Power Saving mode.

Run Hardware Diagnostics:

  • HP laptops have built-in hardware diagnostics. Shut down your laptop, turn it on, and immediately press F2 repeatedly until the HP Hardware Diagnostics menu appears. Run the diagnostics to check for any hardware issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
