Hi @JL160,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Unfortunately, Your HP All-in-One 20-c219in does not have an HDMI input port, which means you cannot use it as a display for your laptop via HDMI. The HDMI port on this model is only an HDMI output, meant for connecting an external monitor or TV.

1. Use Remote Desktop (Best Solution)

If you want to control your laptop from your HP All-in-One, you can use:

  • Windows Remote Desktop (RDP)
  • AnyDesk
  • TeamViewer

2. Use a USB-to-HDMI Capture Card (Workaround)

Some USB-to-HDMI video capture devices allow your laptop to be displayed as a video input, but this may have a slight delay and isn't ideal for everyday use.

3. Use Wireless Display (If supported)

  • If your laptop supports Miracast, you can wirelessly project the screen onto your HP All-in-One (if supported).
  • Press Windows + K on your laptop and try to connect wirelessly.

Alternatively Use an External Monitor

If you need dual screens, connect an external monitor to your laptop’s HDMI port instead of using the HP All-in-One.

Let me know if you need more details, love! 😊
