Product: HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 14 inch 2-in-1 Laptop Next Gen AI PC 14-fh0000 (9F2C1AV)

I love this laptop so much and I've only had it for a few days. It's pretty much perfect, except for the inability to unlock the device when it's in tablet mode using the fingerprint reader/power button. 

 

From my research, this problem even persisted with the Omnibook Flip's older sibling the Spectre x360. I just wanted to confirm that this is by design and you cannot scan your fingerprint when the keyboard is flipped around? I like to have my device in tent mode when on my desk and I hate having to unlock it by moving it around to laptop mode each time to wake it. Even my Surface Pro 7 from a few years ago could be unlocked in tablet mode.
