Hi @Kainat_27,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Thanks for explaining your issue clearly. Here’s what’s happening:

Your HP Mini 110-1145SS connects to Wi-Fi, but when you open Internet Explorer, it says the website is not allowed or the page doesn’t open. This usually means:

Possible Causes

  1. Outdated Browser
Internet Explorer is no longer supported and cannot load modern websites.
  2. DNS or Network Restrictions
If the message says “website not allowed,” it could be due to:
    • Incorrect DNS settings
    • Firewall or parental control restrictions
  3. Old Operating System
HP Mini 110 models often run Windows 7 or XP, which are outdated and may block secure websites.

Steps to Fix

1. Install a Modern Browser

  • Download Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox using another PC or phone.
  • Transfer the installer via USB and install it on your HP Mini.

2. Check Date & Time

  • An incorrect date/time can block secure websites.
  • Go to Control Panel > Date and Time and set it correctly.

3. Reset Network Settings

  • Open Command Prompt and run:  ipconfig /flushdns
                                                                   netsh winsock reset
  • Restart your PC.

4. Disable Proxy

  • Go to Internet Options > Connections > LAN Settings.
  • Uncheck Use a proxy server.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
