my laptop has been showing a stop code error that makes it almost impossible to use, ive been on contact with support agents everyday for almost a month, all they do is make the same 3 troubleshoot steps over and over again and when i mention to please escalate my case they shut me up or disconnect. Yesterday one of them completely locked my laptop and i had to factory reset it to be able to use it again. Im exhausted of these useless agents theyre like bots. Is there any way to contact someone more serious from hp?

Hi @juliana25

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

My sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused to you. We'd hate for you to be stuck in a situation like this. Because you matter to us.

I hear how draining this has been for you—dealing with repeated stop code errors and feeling stuck in a loop with the same troubleshooting steps would wear anyone down. Before we think about the right path forward, it will help to get a clearer picture of your situation so we can isolate what’s really happening.

Could you share a bit more detail about:

  • The exact stop code you’re seeing on the blue screen (for example, DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, MEMORY_MANAGEMENT, etc.).

  • The model of your laptop and whether it’s running Windows 10 or Windows 11.

  • When the stop code usually appears—does it happen during startup, while charging, or only when running certain apps?

  • Any changes you made before the issue began (updates, new drivers, BIOS changes, hardware additions).

  • Whether the factory reset gave you temporary stability or if the stop code reappeared right away.

With those details, I’ll be able to understand whether this is more likely a driver, firmware, or hardware issue—and then guide you toward a more effective resolution path.

We're looking forward to helping you get back up and running!

Regards,

Hawks_Eye
