Hi @ayden6310,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

If your camera is not turning on, it could be due to several reasons ranging from battery issues to internal problems. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

Check the Batteries:

  • Ensure that the batteries are correctly installed in the camera.
  • If the batteries are low or completely drained, replace them with new or fully recharged batteries. For best results, use photo-lithium batteries or rechargeable NiMH batteries instead of ordinary alkaline batteries.

Use an AC Adapter:

  • If you have an HP AC power adapter, connect it to the camera and a working electrical outlet to see if the camera turns on with a stable power supply.

Reset the Camera:

  • Turn off the camera, remove the batteries, and leave them out for at least 10 minutes before reinserting them.

Check for Power Issues:

  • Ensure the AC adapter is not damaged and is properly connected to a functioning power outlet, if used.

Connectivity Issues:

  • If you're trying to use the camera with other platforms, check your computer's USB ports and ensure the camera is recognized as a device.
  • Try a different USB port or cable to rule out any connectivity issues.

Try without Memory Card:

  • Remove any memory cards from the camera and attempt to power it on. Sometimes, a faulty memory card can prevent the camera from turning on.

Factory Reset:

  • Some cameras have a reset function accessible through a menu setting or button, which can be tried if available.

Take care and have an amazing day!
