@sourav50, Welcome to the HP Support Community – it’s great to have you here!

I appreciate you taking the time to share your question. I'm more than happy to assist with this and provide a solution that works for you.

The screen you're seeing is the HP Startup Menu, which appears when the system is configured to show it on every boot. The prompt "Enter - Continue Startup" means the laptop is waiting for manual confirmation before proceeding to boot into Windows.

This behavior is typically caused by a BIOS setting called "Startup Menu Delay" or "POST Hotkey Delay", which is set to a non-zero value (e.g., 5 seconds). Here's how to disable it:

Steps to Skip Startup Menu and Boot Directly into Windows

  1. Restart your HP laptop and press F10 repeatedly as soon as it powers on to enter the BIOS Setup.
  2. In BIOS, navigate to:
    • Advanced or Startup tab (depending on your BIOS version).
    • Look for "Startup Menu Delay" or "POST Hotkey Delay".
  3. Set the delay to 0 seconds.
  4. Press F10 to Save and Exit BIOS.
  5. Your laptop should now boot directly into Windows without showing the startup menu or requiring you to press Enter.

I hope your issue is now resolved. If not, feel free to reply and we’ll continue helping until everything’s sorted!
