Hi @MHS505,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Based on your clarification, you're receiving printer-related messages from HP Virtual Assistant specifically for your HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281fdw, and you want to permanently delete or disable these messages, whether archived or new.

Unfortunately, as of now, HP Virtual Assistant does not offer a built-in feature to permanently delete or archive messages related to printers. These messages are typically session-based and stored temporarily in your browser or HP Smart app environment.

What You Can Do

1. Disable HP Virtual Assistant Notifications (Browser-Based)

If you're accessing HP Virtual Assistant via browser:

  • Go to your browser’s notification settings.
  • Block or remove support.hp.com from allowed sites:
    • In Chrome: chrome://settings/content/notifications
    • In Edge: edge://settings/content/notifications

This will prevent future pop-ups or alerts from HP Virtual Assistant.

2. Use HP Smart App Settings (If Applicable)

If you're using the HP Smart app:

  • Open the app.
  • Go to Settings > Notifications.
  • Disable Virtual Assistant, Tips, or Promotional messages.

3. Clear Browser Cache and Cookies

To remove any stored or session-based messages:

  • Clear your browser’s cache and cookies.
  • Restart the browser and avoid signing into HP Virtual Assistant unless needed.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
