my HP desktop occasionally reacts to my leaving the chair at my desktop.......it will make a sound

While sitting at my desktop pc, all is normal.......many times when I get up and walkaway from the pc, it will "bing" and indicate that i have left the pc and nothing else happens.  I know that there is a setting that alerts the pc someone is nearby, but do not know where to turn the feature on and off.
