Hi @20200,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I am sorry to hear that your HP ENVY x360 14 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC (model 14-es0000) is not powering on, making sounds, or reacting to being plugged in, try the following troubleshooting steps which should resolve the issue.

Check the Power Adapter:

  • Make sure the power adapter is connected properly to both the laptop and the power outlet.
  • Test the power outlet with another device to ensure it's working.
  • If possible, try using a different compatible power adapter.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Disconnect all peripheral devices and remove the power adapter.
  • Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds to discharge any residual electrical charge.
  • Reconnect the power adapter and try turning on the laptop.
  • Observe any LED lights on the laptop when connecting the power adapter.
  • You can check the battery indicator light that should signify charging activity.

Remove External Devices:

  • Make sure no external devices (USB drives, HDMI cables, etc.) are connected, which might cause booting issues.

Take care and have an amazing day!
