Hi, My HP Laptop's brightness keep getting lower automatically

Recommended Steps

1  Disable Adaptive Brightness

  • Go to Control Panel → Power Options → Change plan settings → Change advanced power settings → Display → Enable adaptive brightness → Off

2  Check Intel/NVIDIA Graphics Settings

  • Open Intel Graphics Command Center or NVIDIA Control Panel.
  • Look for settings like Display Power Saving Technology or Dynamic Brightness and disable them.

3  Update Display Drivers

  • Go to Device Manager → Display adapters → [Your GPU] → Update driver
  • Or download the latest driver from HP Support for your laptop model.

4  Check Windows Auto-Brightness

  • Settings → System → Display → Automatically adjust brightness (turn off if present)
