this device has never been able to hold a charge according to the battery status, which tells me 8 hours, but only lasts for an hour or two.  or, when it is in sleep mode, comes out of sleep mode with a drained battery

steps to recreate the error:  open a powershell, and run the command:

powercfg -energy -output c:\power_diagnostic_report.html
