Hi @Missy67,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand you’re trying to locate the power button on your new HP Laptop model CN4047NR. Let’s go through a few steps to help you find and turn it on.

Locate the Power Button
On most HP Pavilion and Envy series laptops, the power button is located on the top-right corner above the keyboard.
On some models, it may be integrated into the keyboard deck or along the left or right edge of the laptop.

Look for the Power Symbol (⏻)
The button may not stand out but should have a small circle with a vertical line symbol printed on it.
If your model has a fingerprint reader, it might also function as the power button.

Check the Left and Right Sides
Some newer slim HP laptops place the power button along the left or right edge, near the ports.
Feel for a slightly raised button and press it once.

If It Still Doesn’t Power On
Plug in the charger and wait 2–3 minutes before pressing the power button again.
A small LED near the charging port or on the side should light up, indicating power is reaching the device.

I hope this helps.
