@MikeRollando, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP OfficeJet Pro 8720 printer isn't printing, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
Check Ink Levels:
- Make sure none of the cartridges are empty or dried out.
- Replace any low or empty cartridges.
Run a Printhead Cleaning:
- On the printer's touchscreen, go to Setup > Printer Maintenance > Clean Printhead.
- You may need to run this more than once.
Check for Paper Jams:
- Open all access doors and remove any jammed paper.
Restart the Printer:
- Turn off the printer, unplug it for 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.
Update or Reinstall Drivers:
- Visit the HP Support page to download the latest drivers.
- If you're on a Mac, uninstall the printer from System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, then reinstall it using HP Easy Start.
Check Network Connection:
- If you're printing wirelessly, ensure the printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network.
- Try printing a Network Configuration Page from the printer's settings to verify connectivity.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
