my elitebook g3 hp 1040 folio has an issue with its touch screen drivers 

the touch screen wasnt working and i had to troubleshoot drivers and than restart 

than it works temporarily 

i re installed my windows and for 4 to 5 days their was no issue 

than it began again

the driver is not being shown in the deivice manager as well 

12c hid device driver is also not working their is a cautios sign over it 

their are no updates pending as well as on the driver and windows 

i disabled and enabled un installed and instaled 

give me a solution

Kindly review the instructions as below :

- please share more details about the issue - Pre or post boot touchscreen not working 

-  were there any hardware or software changes made recently

- We at HP do not encourage using 3rd party accessories or devices , hardware upgrades unless advised in any form of hp documentation
