HP Slate 8 Pro
Android 4.4 KitKat

Hi,

I have a HP Slate 8 Pro running Android 4.4, it has many times discharge itself while is not in use (stand by mode, not power off of course).  It's like the OS keeps running  background. It's really annoying.

If somebody has an idea for a possible solution I'll appreciate it.

Thanks in advance!

I have been having the same issue with my HP Slate 8 Pro tablet.

I will have about  a 75% battery charge and no apps open then  sleep the tablet only to discover that the battery is totally drained in the morning.  This is very frustrating.

Have you gotten any solutions to the issue.

Thanks

Mary

Hi Mary,

none solution yet!

I suspect it could be something  with the O.S. HP never launched any update to it.

I always have to turn it off if I want to keep it charged.

Any solution I will let you know!
