HP slate 17
Android 4.4 - 4.4.4 KitKat
I have HP slate 17 , I'm facing issue with all Google services. When I open app store or chrome or without opening anything I received message "unfortunately service stopped working " I did hard reset and first 5 min all good till the update happen and all the story again.

You need to support the device since one year no OS update and stack with 4.4.4 , it's big shame on the user support for this product specially and for no reason. If you are not willing to upgrade it than let us root the device to have full control on it.

I understand that you have done a Reset and again after the Update the issue reoccured.

 

When you mentioned Hard Reset, are you referring to the Factory reset?

 

If you haven't, I request you perform a Factory Reset. You can refer to this Video

 

I would request you to contact our Phone Support if the issue persists.

 

Step 1. Open link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
Step 2. Enter Product number or select to auto detect 
Step 3. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"
Step 4. Scroll down and click: HP contact options - click on Get phone number and phone number appear.
