Hi! @jonyy1234, Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Forums!

I understand you have issues resetting the tablet back to factory settings.

Don't worry I'll try to help you out.

Did you make any changes to your tablet?

Please provide the product number of your tablet to assist you better.

As you mentioned your tablet is stuck at HP beats logo and you are unable to boot into the tablet.

Try the steps recommended below.

A hard reboot can resolve many startup issues. Press and hold the power button for more than eight seconds. After the tablet fully shuts down, wait a few seconds, and then press the power button to turn on the tablet.

Use the steps in this section to reset an HP7 G2 or HP 8 G2 tablet.

1.With the tablet device powered off, press and hold the power and volume up (+) and volume down (-) buttons simultaneously for about five seconds.

The HP logo is displayed, and a few seconds later the Android system recovery menu is displayed.

2.When the Android system recovery menu displays, use the volume down (-) button to highlight Wipe data/factory reset.

3.Press the power button to select.

4.The screen displays Confirm wipe of all user data? THIS CAN NOT BE UNDONE. Use the volume down button to highlight Yes -- delete all user data.

5.Press the power button to confirm and begin the reset.

6.A recovery system screen shows the reset process. Wait for the reset process to complete.

7.When the screen displays the message Data wipe complete at the bottom of the screen, highlight Reboot system now, and then press the power button to select.

Wait for the system to reboot.

8.The factory reset is complete. Set up the device by following the steps in the HP support document Setting up your HP Tablet.

Refer this article to know more information about restoring the tablet back to factory settings.

Also, refer this article to further troubleshoot no boot issues with the tablet.

If the issue still persists after trying out the steps, it is a hardware issue with your tablet.

Please contact HP support for service options.
