Since our community was born, it has been growing every month, especially because of our volunteer Experts supporting us with their capable shoulders. August was no exception to this.

 

This month, approximately 6 million people came to the Forum with questions. Our Experts pulled up their sleeves and tried their best to help as many of them as they could.

 

There are two Experts that we specially want to recognize and thank today.

DavidPK joined our Forum in 2010 and since then he has been a consistent presence in our Community. He’s always eager to help whether it’s an issue with a notebook or a desktop PC.

 

This month he replied to 569 posts, out of which 117 issues were solved. 172 people gave him kudos to show their appreciation. Here’s a post that perfectly captures how thankful fellow community members are.

You will find Ciara_B on the printing boards as she tries to help our community members with issues regarding printing supplies. She works hard to improve our products.

Hi all i am new to this blog. i have a problem to discuss . i have recentlybought ne hp envy 4 1100se laptop in august 31st 2013 and checked its warranty status on hp website but it shows that  it s going to expire in november 2013. but it should show expiry in somewhere in august 31st 2014. please help me out how can i inform hp to update it as i don't know their email address. and in website it asks for model number before going to email and when i enter it does not recognizes it. what to do???

Hi Guys! sorry to be annoying but I have a big problem...I really need help.. I have a HP dv9000. the cd/dvd rom does not work and now and error happened to the HD and I can not boot up the system and it can not find any operation system, also I have the message pxe cable unplug. I got a new HD and i can not install it. please I really need any help.

Well, where to start?

 From the beginning I suppose...

 I purchased my H/P lap-top at Best Buy a little over 5 months ago.

 It came with all the "bells and whistles" you would hope to expect from a $700 lap-top, so I thought...

 Oh, I was drawn in by the "Beats Audio", the "Simple Pass Security"(finger print scanner) and of course, "Windows 8".

 But, little did I know, of the nightmare this machine has become...

 Now to be fair, I am 42 years old...and I do realize that I am a bit behind in the technology department...but seriously,   you'd have to be a computer genius to figure out how to keep this hunk o' junk from malfuntioning.

 I'm getting it from every angle...I have Windows updates that are shutting off my sound, the Simple Pass only works when it wants to, Windows 8...well, we all know it's crap, and the Beats Audio, let's just say that my cell phone has better audio than Beats Audio...and that's a fact.

 Speaking of cellphones...someone forgot to mention that this $700 lap-top doesn't come with "Bluetooth"

 Are you kidding me? You mean to tell me that a machine that fits in my pocket, can do everything this lap-top can do, and more...has "Bluetooth" capibilities pre-installed, but a machine 20X its size and 700X the price,doesn't come with it for free? 

Well, for anyone who might be reading this, I wish you the best with your new H/P computer and any that might be thinking of purchasing one, I can only offer this advice..."Caveat Emptor"... which is Greek for "Buyer Beware"

pls help.... " the computer restarted unexpectedly or encounter an unexpected error. windows installation cannot proceed. to install windows, click "OK" to restart the computer and then restart installation, i click ok but still not working or preparing, what will i do

I wasteing my time no one made any efference to help me at all. It time i report this as junk .
