September was an exciting month on the HP Support Forum, with special events, high participation, and many problems solved!
The biggest news item for the month was the terrific success of our Expert Day event. More than 250 Experts flooded the forum to get your tough computing and printing questions answered.
Expert Day is always a fun time, which proved to be the case again, and so many problems were solved. Vidya was our top Expert of the day with a whopping 167 posts and 19 solutions. One of my favorite quotes from the day was said to ShlomiL: "Thanks!!! It worked!! YOU ROCK! LOVE HP!" Couldn't get much better than that!
Even more exciting though, was that we took Expert Day on the road for the very first time. Check out this article, and this one, on The Next Bench blog to find out what we were doing and why.
If you missed this Expert Day, don't worry, not only are there are ALWAYS Experts on the forum ready to help you out, we'll be having a special Windows 8 Expert Day in late November to get your Win8 questions answered.
Now it's time to highlight two members who made a difference during the month of September.
The first person that I'd like to introduce this month is Some_Tech_Guy. He joined the HP Support Forum in late September to solve a problem of his own, but he stuck around to help others with their issues, providing an tremendous example of why this Community is so popular. In the short amount of time that he's been here, he's already posted 26 times and wrote a solution. One grateful member said, "Thanks for the answer :-)." Congratulations, Some_Tech_Guy, we're so happy to have you here, and we look forward to "seeing you" around on the boards more often.
Wild applause are also needed for this next member, banhien. This is the third time we've featured him as part of the "Best of the Month" column, and this September, he was in the top three for posts, solutions, and kudos. Not only did he write 92 solutions (that's more than 3 per day!), he received over 250 kudo clicks, which was more than any other member in September. Fantastic job, banhien! You've been all over the forum, helping so many members through the frustrating times with their notebooks, desktops, and printers. I thank you, but more importantly, MANY other members do as well!
Please join me in congratulating these two extraordinary members!
