This week, Photorich56 came to the HP Support Forum looking for help restoring his notebook computer to its factory state. In this week's featured post, he said he was planning to give it away, and after searching on HP's website, he learned that HP no longer supplies recovery disks for his unit.
If your computer falls into this category as well, there are some options available, and kamat_hp goes through them in this thread.
Ideally, everyone should keep their recovery disks in a safe place and be sure to make them when you get a new computer if they don't come in the box. There are several third party websites that offer these products after computers have reached their support life with HP though, so you won't be out of luck if you can't find them.
It's now time to reveal the Top 20 Posters of the week. DavidPK continues his streak in #1 with an astounding 225 posts. Banhien makes an impressive return to the Community by coming in second with nearly 200 posts. And PrintDoc, resident printing guru, rounds out the top 3, with 135 posts. Congratulations, all of you!
Thank you to everyone who took a moment to help out another member on the boards this week - you truly do make a difference!
