Polycom Focus 2

Hey guys,
I have the BT700 adapter with the Polycom Focus 2's but i'm not able to see the receiver when connecting to the PolyLens app.

I think at some point i've seen it show up but removed it, now even after removing and plugging back in the USB dongle i'm not seeing it.

Any way for me to connect the dongle back to the app so I can bind the headset?
The light is completely off on the dongle itself.

We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with the BT700 USB adapter. We understand how important it is for your headset to function reliably. 

 

To help isolate and address the issue, please try the following troubleshooting steps:
 

  1. Connect the BT700 adapter directly to your PC or laptop, avoiding any docking stations or USB hubs.
  2. Try a different USB port on your device to rule out any port-related issues.
  3. Uninstall the BT700 driver via Device Manager, then reconnect the adapter to allow Windows to reinstall the driver.
  4. If available, connect the BT700 to a different PC to help determine whether the issue is related to the adapter or the original system.
  5. If the BT700 becomes visible after performing the above steps, kindly check for a firmware update using the Poly Lens application, and update it if available.

If the problem persists after performing these steps, we recommend contacting HP Support for further assistance. Our support engineers will be glad to help resolve the issue.
