So I just received my Poly 5200 UC this Jan 2025 and charge them before using it w/ my mobile and pc for work. It's not even 24 hours when I charged it completely full and kept it overnight w/ the headset off, guess what! The charging case was dead drained. I thought there's something wrong but still even long pressing doesn't light the leds. So I figured out it was drained and tried to charge it with red led lights. 

 

Reported to support, but there were not helpful as they ended my chat without giving me a resolution. It went back again and no one is responding even though I was on the chat, waited 5-10 mins! 

 

My workaround is to cut a thin paper to block my headset charging it when it's on the case. This works temporarily, and been a day now that both are full charge. I only use to charge my headset (standing position) when I think it's due to charge. 

 

Please help to give permanent solution on this. My firmaware is updated and it was just only few days of using it after delivery but it went problematic.

I’m sorry to hear about the issue you're experiencing with your Voyager 5200 headset. I understand how important it is to have your headset functioning properly. To help resolve the issue, could you please follow a few troubleshooting steps?
 

  1. Kindly reset the headset using the Poly Lens application and then test the headset to see if the issue persists.
  2. Please verify and update the firmware of both the charging case and the headset using the Poly Lens application on your PC.

I'm an IT and I did everything and exhausting possible troubleshooting to no luck. Trust me. It is not working. I have to peal a piece of paper to put in between my headset and charging case connector in order not to be connected and drained the whole thing everytime and if am not using it. This is ridiculous with such amount of money paid.
